| ShopSabre hand held remote? We are new to the cnc world and have a ShopSabre 36x36 router. One of the things we have encountered is that it is difficult to align the x,y and z to the work from the keyboard. As a result we work with two guys. A friend of ours is a machinist and recommended a hand held remote for operation. Do you know of a remote that works with the WinCNC software and if so where can I get one? Thanks, Mike Westvang Dryad Bows Inc. |

| I have been using a wireless keyboard and mouse combo and it seems to work fine. I was concerned about potential interference, but haven't had any problems. I can take the keyboard to far end of the machine and align when needed. |

| remote keypad Hi, I use a hand held keypad like the one on the right side of the keyboard and use the arrows for the x and y and use the up or down for the z. It plugs into the usb port on the computer. Cost is about $25 from Best Buy. Good Luck, Ddog |

| in wincnc you can create common xy settings. home machine then move xy where you wish to have a common or job home, then pull down settings-home positions- pick one, give it a name- then key "get pos" when you close the box it will save this position. you can then always return to this position from home !! jim

| Thanks for the tip on the hand held keypad. Man does it work slick. I just set the speed at medium on the big board and walk around to the work. Adjust my settings and go back and go too work. Thanks, Mike
