I got my machine back in Feb and was pretty busy with it for the first few weeks. Then I got involved in some honey-dos and then summer came along-
Anyway, I made a big error on my mill power feed. The Patriot has an auto stop on the power feed lever that puts the gearbox into neutral just before the quill reaches it maximum travel in the up or down direction. It also has a depth stop on the front to pre set the depth of any plunge when running in manual. I mis read the manual and got the two mixed up in my mind. The auto stop is pre-adjusted at the factory. I loosened one of the clamps thinking it was the depth stop, and before I knew it the quill had gone beyond its max travel and bent the bracket around the quill. Its not severe, but JT is sending me a new one along with the auto stop rod which bent also.
Just a word of warning on this, be sure you understand which is which.
