How to remove the R8 arbor in the mill head??!!

This is probably a dumb question but how on earth am i supposed to remove the drill chuck arbor that came installed in the mill head??

I want to use an r-8 collet and I am guessing that once I remove the chuck arbor then i will be able to slide the r8 collet into the mill head.

I looked everywhere for some sort of tool that might have come with the machine but no luck.

    Thoughts??

    Will

It should be held in by a draw bolt that comes down from the top through the center of the spindle; there will be a hexagon head at the top above the pulley. The quill has to be all the way up to see it.

Slacken this no more than three turns and then give it a sharp hit with a medium size hammer and the R8 taper should come loose.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
