On my Shoptask I had bent my auto stop arm when I engaged the drive beyond the detent position. If you do this it puts the arm at a near horizontal position and can cause it to bind up and bend the arm or break the rod-end connector. JT send me replacement parts for free along with a swivel connection modification. Here are some photos of a modification made by another customer. This is a piece of tubing bored to fit around the original mount and held in place by some screws. It has a relief milled into it and a roll pin which prevents the shifter from being engaged beyond the detents. It looks like an easy thing to build and a better idea than the swivel connection. It would fit models from 1997 up to 2005. I'm not sure if it would fit on the Tri-Power or Patriot machines |

| I like it. Now to find some 2 1/2" stock! And a rotary table, although I guess I can come up with the milled-away sector some other way. I could use bolted on stops instead of the recess, but that sure looks professional. Dennis |
