    Cartridge press on Shopmaster

Attached is a photo of the cartridge press built on the Shopmaster. Off the shelf presses use a lever arm for the action, but in my opinion the difference in leverage during the stroke creates uneven compaction of the charge. This design uses a cam action so that the compacting force is even during the entire stroke. I don't have any scientific data to prove its better, but it was a fun project.
