Shoptask Delphi forum closed? - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

I can use the official Shoptask Delphi group, but I cannot access the alternate, unofficial group and it is labelled as "closed" when I list my groups. What happened?

If I go to the official Shoptask forum moderated by John Taylor of Shoptask, it connects normally:

But the unofficial one does not connect anymore, and when I click on "my forums", which gives a list of Delphi forums I am subscribed to, this second Shoptask forum is listed as "closed". Yesterday it was fine.

There is a post on the Shoptask forum explaining this. Apparently that forum was not owned by Shoptask, but by someone else. For some reason the owners decided to drop it.

Yeah, I saw that. That's a shame, as there was lots of good information archived on both forums. Dennis
