I am very interested in a used machine- preferably with CNC, ball screws and DRO. I have spoken to some owners and have discussed the positives and negatives, and feel that I am up to to any challenge that may arise. After all, these are not highly complex machines. Would prefer one of the Bridgemill style units for the extra mill support and adjustable mill head. Send me an e-mail with pictures and your price. Hoping to find one that I can pickup rather than paying freight.

There is one on ebay. Someone is giving up...

I saw that one too. However, I want the full CNC with DRO ball screws and the quadra lift assembly. Its way too far from me to be practical as well. It will be interesting to see how the bidding goes- I think the " Buy it Now " price is just about what they sold for new.
Where are you????
Mine isn't for sale as I just got it a couple months ago. Just for pricing, mine is an early 2006 vintage Bridgemill. It has the Camtronics CNC set up for 3 axis (soon to be 4), a CNC rotary table, a real 4" mill vice (I've since gotten a 6" Kurt), a Phase II wedge style QCTP, all the original Shoptask tools and accesories, and a bunch of insert mills, inser turning tools, and a Grizzley horizontal band saw. If the previous owner put 50 hours on the machine it was a lot. It does not have ball screws or a DRO. I paid $3000 for all of it. Hope this helps you come up with a price for what you want.
I have found a unit close by that sounds like it has what I want- will go and take a look and let you all know if I made the deal.
Just got a new patriot machine and will be selling my 2000 model Shoptask- send me an e-mail and let's see if we are close
Dynoray,
Sorry- already sold it. Got double lucky and sold it to a buddy of mine for nearly the price I paid new, plus he used to bring his stuff over to me to work on for free. Now he can do it himself. I think Shoptask had a trade in machine available, you might check with them.
