Hi I have noticed on some posts references to "scraping" or "lapping" the gibbs of the x and y axis. I am reasembling my Bridgemill with new ballnuts and ballscrews and am wondering if someone could explain to me what what these 2 processes are? I think it has to do with takng down the high points and makng the gibbs perfectl flat and parallel so that there is no play on both these axis? How is this done? Thanks in advance Jonathan3520 |
