mounting dro on 2000 question

I am getting ready to mount a new dro on my 2000 and want to know
if I can use those little bolts on those little black way covers ?

yea ... I thought about that .. but ... I just went a head
and used them. seems to work fine. I thought they were plastic
at first .. but .. they are metal and plenty hardy to hold the
bracket.
