Default HELP - LATHE MOTOR BELT ROUTING

    Hi Guys,

I recently replaced my 2 belt on my NOS (almost sitting still since new) 2004 Bridegemill Lathe motor (the 560mm belts) by 3L240 ones as JT stated but upon reassembly I end up kinda mixed up over what belt goes over/under what idler...

This is what I have right now - I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS OK

The back belt (the one closer to the motor and enclosure wall) is going OVER the top idler (the one connected to the speed change lever) an OVER the bottom fixed idler.
The front belt (the one closer to you) *is going UNDER the top idler (the one connected to the speed change lever) an UNDER the bottom fixed idler.

The belt closest to the motor should go over the top of the lower roller alongside the other belt so that they run in the same direction and don't rub on the roller. Hope that helps.
