I just sent the money for mine today.
    Ordered the full package.
I am totally new to metal working but do lots of wood working.
I have always wanted to combine the two.

My hubby does welding and has done some cnc plasma but nothing like this.
Looking forward to getting it in and going through it 100% and learning a new hobby.

    Kristy.

Sweet! Welcome to the club! I have a plasma cnc setup too. My patriot is a 2010 model. Love them both! You will have a lot of fun! My son and I watched a lot of youtube vids and a GREAT resource is NYC CNC. You will love his easy style and helpful vids. CG.

Welcome! One thing to invest in if you don't already have is a dial indicator set because you may need to do some work with the tram of the mill to do any kind of quality also good for Mach 3 setup of steps and backlash if you did not get a DRO. Glad to have another face on the forum.

well it has been 3 months pretty much just working through issues, I think I have most of them all worked out or at least known, cut some real parts this weekend for Jim's Maverick. Just light brackets. They are not perfect, but good enough to use for now, will redo soon. I did not get pictures of it yet but I should. Its the first aluminum that I have cut properly. It is much more challenging in patience and skill than I would have imagined.
