    Drilling holes

I have a simple hole pattern that I am cutting in gears, but sheetcam doesn't seem to work very easily with the drawn holes. I have to draw each individual hole exactly the right size in CAD for sheetcam to let me cut it. If i draw a 1/4 hole, it wont let me cut it with a 1/2 bit, and if i draw a 1/2 hole, it won't let me predrill with a 1/4 bit unless i draw another circle inside. I've tried making centerpoints in the CAD, but it doesn't seem to work. please help!!

Set the min/max hole size in the tool for your drill bit to be inclusive (with a tolerance on either side) to 1/4 or 1/2 min and max and it will work. I do this all the time for exactly the same reason.
