We use Mach3 for our mill routing machine, to cut pieces out of HDPE and HMPE. To create programs we use SheetCAM with the Flashcut Post Processor. When we want to nest pieces automatically, I mean; I've got a few pieces in the same color and want SheetCAM to create a nested program itself with e.g. 10 pieces of part 1, 20 pieces of part 2, 5 pieces of part 3, etc. Is that possible in SheetCAM ? Now we have to do it manually which takes a lot of time ? And if it's not possible, does somebody know an easy to use piece of CAM software which can do that with Flashcut NC codes ? Best regards ! | At the moment there isn't any way of doing that in SheetCam. I am negotiating with a supplier of nesting software to integrate their functions into SheetCam. Hopefully something will be available in the first quarter of next year. |
