| SheetCAM and an old Hurco Hi, I have a Hurco SM1 CNC Mill. I have grown tired of the manual input of the conversational code, and want to go with a CAM package and run G-code. I use AutoCAD to make my drawing/DXF. I just downloaded the SheetCAM demo, and it seems like just what I am looking for. I want to buy it, but I am not sure if my machine will be able to run the code because it isn't listed in the post processor list. There is an option for I believe a Bridgeport with 'BX' control. My Hurco uses a 'BX' control. I am wondering if they are the same, and if so then would the code from the sheetcam program work, or will I need to get a new post processor from somewhere? |
