text in sheetcam?

i have tried using the text feature in sheetcam it will show in the part but a cut path for the text never happens even though the rest of the part has a cut path. not sure what the deal is? i import the part, add the text then run the operation. it's for plasma if that makes a difference.

the text should show under the layers menu. if it does a separate machine operation must be made for it.

if the operation is shown in red or yellow (tool to big, incorrect of offset)will help guide you in correcting the problem.

i like using DeskEngrave (free) saving as a dfx and and adding it to my CAD drawing. it has more fonts to choose from,plus archs.
