pierce delay doesn't work

anyone else got this problem? i got my pierce delay set to 2 seconds but the torch still runs off as soon as it's lit... how do i fix this? sheetcam generates what seems to be the proper code. "G04 P2" but mach3 ignores it.

edit: maybe this should be moved to the mach3 sub-forum?

EDIT2:
omg you guys are so quick. 100 answers in a few minutes. oh wait...

(i figured it out so someone can remove this thread now)

Mach3 reads the G04 code in milliseconds, but this can be changed in the settings menu.

so for a 2 second delay, you should write: "G04 P2000"

I don't quite follow, can you make an adjustment in mach to compensate or do you have to manually edit the G04 code line to correct?

Thanks!

i just went to the to config drop down menu and then general logic configuration there is a box on the right hand side with "G04 Dwell in ms" checked as a default uncheck that and it will dwell in seconds
