    .dfx into sheetcam issue

    Hello,
I drew this in Bobcad and saved it as a .dxf file to import into sheetcam for my plasma cutter. The sign is supposed to have a "MACHINE" on a arc across the top and the letters "SHOP" underneath. But the SHOP doesn't show up in sheetcam. Nor does the small numbers that show the cutting process. I see some small dots along the letter but no numbers that can be viewed for the cam/cutting process. I'm new to sheetcam. I've heard that text has issues when converting to .dxf?? Hope this makes seens. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Mtlhe,
I am not sure how to do this in your cad, but you need to "Explode" the text in shop into individual elements. In Acad, you need to use Express Tools to do this.

Thanks Bubba i'll try that. Does sheetcam only like .dfx's or will it import other types(i.e.'dwg.etc.)?
