    4th axis for a 2412.

I am looking at a sharp 2412. It is not set up for a 4th axis. Is there an after-market 4th axis that can be used with the machine?

True, a real 4th axis cannot run off the Oi control, but if you are just needing a index, lets say of 90 degrees per index, you can fire off an M code and spin some of the indexers.

IIRC Yuasa makes Rotary Indexers that use an M-code (DPRNT) from your serial port to index.
