| machine selection New to this site. Looking to buy a Sharp Vertical Mill (Bridgeport clone) with Acu-Rite 2 axis CNC for home use. Perhaps an LMV-42 ? I like the "advantages" of the typical Bridgeport-style vertical mill as opposed to a bed-type; plus, the ability to use the Acu-Rite manually. What is available out there as far as dealerships and approximate pricing? Anyone got one they like to part with? I have had prior experience in programming starting with a Bandit control, then later on a Bridgeport Boss6. Lots of G-code programs. Thanks in advance, Gatz |
