Hi All,
I'm trying to find out who the manufacturer is and what the exact part number is for the tool changer motor on my SV2412. The machine has the 16 tool option - and a previous owner removed the motor presumably to service another one of his machines. See attached pictures.
Talking to Sharp hasn't been that helpful, as it appears that there are two options for the tool changer. The machine i have includes a gear reducer from LI-Ming machinery. It would really help me out if one of you can pull off the cover on your machine and send me a picture and the requested info (confirming that your machine uses the same gear reducer).
This would be a huge help. Thanks again.

I have a sharp 2412 with a 10 tool carosel , Its scary sharp can't sell you a new motor whats there excuse? .Mine uses a small gear motor but its 3 phase 220 volt witch makes it hard to find and also has a brake on it, the motor on mine turns 56 rpm .Your gear box is made by a different company than mine .In my manual it lists a different motor number and mauufacturer thats not on my machine go figure. Notice on the second link you can configure a motor and gear box with the options you need..Hope this helps
The motor number is 5ik60gn-smih the gear box is 5gn30k
Here are links to the motor and gear box defennitions.
