Mitsubishi M3 control axis drives?

Any one here familiar with mitsu axis drives that are three in one model: MR-S3-80AA-E01

I would like to know what type of feed back the motors have to this drive unit?

I bought a mill with this control and the owner said that the spindle drive died so I want to figure out if the axis drive is still ok.
