| One question I do have. Say you have 3 850oz 8.5A 72VDC motors. From my understanding you just add up the current and multiply it by the Voltage to get the wattage you need. Using the motor above this means 3 x 8.5A = 25.5A 25.5A x 72VDC = 1836 Watts Now Antek only has 1500W power supplies. Would you need to get an additional power supply to handle the third motor? |

| If you notice in the article page 2&3 it shows how to derate it calculated from max power. IOW, you usually only use the calculated power for brief periods, so normally over heating is not a problem. Al.
