This is the older controller that uses printer port…. The system came with an old PC that is using bobcad version 10 for the controller software and it works fine… I am trying to use mach III 7.50 load windows 2k machine and I can’t seem to figure out pin-outs I tried port 1 or pin 17 enable 1 and then the X axis I tried pins 2-8 and I get nothing.. I even toggled the low active and I get the same results…. The stepper motors are: Astern Air Devices 3.1V 2PH 5.0 A 1.8 Deg. I would like to find a controller software that will work with this.
