Fanuc CNC controler

I got hold of a Fanuc CNC controler with various PCB. The items are as follow:
3 ea Velocety Control Unit type A006B-6047-H003

1 ea Velocety Control Unit type A006B-6047-H002

1 ea AC spindle servo unit Type A06B-6044-H010

1 ea Input unit Type A14B-0061-B102 02

1 ea Power unit Type A14B-0061-B002 02

2 ea PCB Type A20B-0008-054-0101A

1 ea PCB Type A16B-1000-003 0/04c

1 ea PCB Type A20B-0007-009 0/08E

1 ea Hitachi PCB BMU 1M-2 A87L-0001-0085 06C

1 ea Hitachi PCB BMU 64-2 A87L-0001-0001-0016-08F

1 ea PCB A16B-1200-045 0/02A

Are any of you farmiliar with this controler? I do not have any drawings for this controler. Can anybody help out here? I am not sure what sort of a positional encoder that Fanuc use for the Velocety Control Unit type A006B-6047-H002. I currently have a 3 phase 230 Volt induction spindel motor. Can i use this AC spindle servo unit Type A06B-6044-H010 with my Induction Motor?

I do not know yet. The CNC Controler i aprox 20 years old. It was a 5 axis cnc machine controler. Hoever this one was fitted with with X,Y,Z ans A axis. I will try to find out some more info on this. I have a Takang Turret milling machine model M-3V that i intend to convert into a CNC mill. I am not sure this controler is sutable for this machine?? Can you tell me what sort of encoder Fanuc used for this conrol system?
Can i utilize only the 4 Velocety Control Unit type A006B-6047-H002 and a PC with MACH 2?

If the motors are DC, there is a chance they do not use encoders, but resolvers, these are in the rear cap of the motor and are geared up to get resolution.

To implement this control on a machine, you would require the manuals and need some experience in retrofitting machines, IIRC the 6M uses an outboard control/plc so you would have to identify and hook up the CNC control lines to the PLC, It would be a challenge, also the Fanuc controlls are not cheap on parts, boards etc. Also many of the 6M DC servo's had resolvers, like I previously mentioned and therefore if you use the exsiting drives & motors with another system, you may want to upgrade to encoders.

Forget it !
You would be better off selling all your bits here in the adverts section or on ebay and you would get i would say the best part of $1500 for all those bits, with that you could go and buy something a bit more "application designer friendly" like one of the pc based systems mentioned.Even trying to make a Fanuc 0m controller do anything requires a special eprom blower hooked up to a giant yellow box called a PG. just not the gear to play around with.

Not arf !,
a 6m master board on its own without any additional boards should be good for at least $600 as the cheapest anyone would fix a faulty one would be $1500.
other pcb's at least $100-$200, spindle drive, if its the one with 4 buttons and some LED 7 segment display's as a whole unit with the top pcb and all the heavy stuff under it should be good for $500 at least. the fan for innstance on your spindle motor (if its a fanuc motor), would cost to buy new about $600 !! for a fan.I don't know to much about the mainland Euroland market for parts but here in England, Great Britain its real good.
