Ultra3000 and DSMPro

I have not been here long and I see there is a vast knowledge base, very nice.

My question is this... when using dsmpro and am online with the drive I am bombarded with warnings such as this:
Name:An improperly formatted message was sent to the drive.
Notify Technical support
Do you want to access the parameters in the future.
Yes or No

These continue through many parameters and then I am offline.
I do not know what to do about this.
Anyone have ideas on this....

My cure for this at this point was to run windows 98se in vmware and load the dsapro software in 98se and run it from there. Problem solved. Not sure why xp has the issue.. Hope this helps if anyone has this problem.
