I am going to use PIC16F877 to control the servo motor.
Are there any good web links which I could do my reference?

You didn't mention what type of servo motor technology.
DC can be used with or without feedback via tach etc, AC or BLDC usually require commutation feedback of some kind.
The PicMicro site and Forum have application notes for different servo's.
