| A DCBL with hall effect commutation requires a DCBL drive, the AC Sinusoidal is constructed virtually identical to a BLDC, but if fitted with resolver feedback requires a Sinusoidal drive. A DC brushed can be driven with a DCBL drive set to 60deg commutation. I believe Granite drives will accept encoder feedback for commutation, but you would have to confirm this. It appears the motors in the link are dual purpose, depending on the feedback option fitted. Al.

Hello; The DC servo drive can not drive AC brushless motor. But GD's drive have both functions to drive either DC or AC brushless motor, you need to set the drive configuration, also make sure the AC brushless motor you want to buy has the 3 phase hall sensor signal U,V,W, and the enocder signal available for position servo control. regards HL www.dmm-tech.com |
