Any problems mixing a servo for 1 axis and stepper on the other? Reason i ask, is a i just bought a linear slide/ballscrew/stepper motor combo for a project. I have 3 servo motors also. Rather than adapt my servo to the stepper, can I just mix and match? Stepper on Y axis, Servo on X? Will be a plasma cutting table BTW 4' x 4'. |
