I have 3 old Honeywell servos with analog tachometers. Some day I would like to replace the tachometers with encoders and replace the X and Y steppers on my router with these. they look plenty big enough, but I'm having trouble understanding their power compared to steppers. The tag says: 30 volts, 7.2 amps, torque constant 8.75 oz-in/amp What size (in-oz) stepper motor would these specs be equal to? ![]() Thanks, John |

| As you can see, if torque constant is 8.75 oz-in per amp, then 7.2 x 8.75 = 63 oz-in. Continuous stall torque rating is 63 oz-in. Al.

| A typical BLDC servo in a NEMA 34 would be around 100 oz-in. Al.
