Peerless 183-04 vs Anilam SEM MT30? | | I have a short and broken magnet in a Peerless-Winsmith 183-04-????-0 DC permanent magnet motor on my Bridgeport Series I y-axis. Torque 16, Max volts 172, RMP 4000, Tach 7v@1000 rpm, Max Pulse Amps 33.1, K9219T, The Power supply is Westamp A6513 Chassis with Westamp 30060 and Glentek GA370 Servo Amplifiers, and a Dynapath Delta 20M control.
I am a hobbiest and not a tradesman, but like to tinker as well make parts for my restorations. I have access to spare servo motors with the following specs.
SEM MT30M4-59 Torque 3Nm, max volts 140, RPM 2400, Tach 9.5v@1000 rpm, Max Pulse Amps 30.
SEM MT30R4-58 Torque 3.5Nm, max v140, RPM 2500, Tach 9.5v@1000, Max amps 37
The Glentek GA370 is already on the y-axis, but the peerless motor was slow and had a high current draw due to the short in one of the winding as well as drag from the binding loose magnet fragment.
My question is can the SEM MT30 motor be used to replace the Peerless motor and is it compatable with the Glentek amplifier? This is assuming that the GA370 can be adjusted to the MT30.
Any thoughts? |
