Hello all I am a beginner trying to hook up a 3-axis spindle machine with my delta tau Pmac Pack. Here is the suitation. The spindle has x,y,z axis and each axis has limited switches located on both ends. I connected the spindle's limit switches +x and -x to the Pmac pack's Flag input 1 PosLim and NegLim. I expected that the spindle will stop moving if I press the either one of the overlimit switches. However, nothing happened when I pressed. What should I do? P.S. When the limited switches are not pressed, both PosLim and NegLim are 3.9V. If limited switch +x is pressed, voltage of PosLim changes from 3.9V to 0.15V. Only PosLim and NegLim are connected, other pins of Flag input are not connected. |

| It sounds like you have Ix25 (replace x with motor number) set wrong. PMAC limits needs to be pulled low to enable. They should be wired with normaly closed switches. So when the machine is not on limit it should be close to 0 volts and go up to around 5 when the switch is pressed. |
