Hi, i have a Parker ZX620 Servo Driver. I want to use this Beast as spindle drive in my next CNC project. However, i am not quite sure how i could control it with Mach3. The drive doesn't have Step/Dir inputs. But the drive is programmable, i should be able to write a program that simulates Step/Dir inputs if i cann hook the signales from Lpt as Inputs to the Drive. My other problem is the Motor. The smallest available motor for the ZX600 Series has 1.5KW, the mill has 700-800W presently. Could other Motors be used with the ZX? Perhaps anyone knows these drives. Thank You Adrian |
