You can download the manuals for the drives from the yaskawa site.

According to the manual, error six is undervoltage as you say.Yaskawa`s explanation is to switch the power on and off and if the error is still there to replace the Servopack drive. It seems strange that both would fail at once without outside interference. Are you sure the input voltages are correct?

Hi gridley51,
yes it seems strange to me also but it happened to me. Input voltage is o.k . today i am planning to dissemble the drives & check for some damaged parts may be thryster or some diode. If you have some more information for this alarm , Pl share with me.

Have you sent an E-mail to support@yaskawa.com? I found they are pretty good at answering E-mails.

Sorry all I know is what`s written in the manual.I have never used Yaskawa drives although I have fourteen of them in the stores which I recently acquired along with matching motors.
I too recommend you email Yaskawa.
Mark.

works for me...sort of.

You can download SigmaWin+ software from Yaskawa, Thats what I did. I had the same thing happen= A.40 alarm in the software= overvoltage.
I think mine is blown maybe yours too, some kind of power spike maybe. Anyway, the software connects to the drive and gives all kind of information, much more than I can understand right now but in a format that is understandable. AND, you can clear the alarm and reset it. You have to make a cable to connect, I made one out of an old RS232, the help file in the software shows the wiring diagram. Good luck.
