Hi Folks,
First of all, Thanks Al, for the specs on my Electro craft Servos. I am looking at drives now, but really don’t have quite enough experience with servos to make an intelligent decision yet. Also, I would be very interested in getting any input or opinions on what would make a decent driver for these servos. The servo specs were provided by Al The Man ( Thanks again ) hopefully the rest of the info is of some use also. Thanks everyone for your time and knowledge. J
“These are very close to the SEM brushed servo's that were fitted to these machines.
The E727 is a 29lb-in stall torque, max 120vdc, 2700 rpm. Kt 1.77lb-in/amp.”
My machine is a 3 axis Excello 602 (Bridgeport style) 9”X48 #4 taper, 3 hp spindle.
The encoders are Datametrics LC-23 Model S-9705A-500. They have 8 connections listed on the tag however only 4 were used, VDC, common, A out and B out. Hope this helps, Thanks again. J |
