I just wondered whether anyone had any experience with the Mitsubish HC-PQ series of servos? A couple came up on eBay today which I took a flyer on and bought with the idea that I'd use the for the X&Y of a mid-size bench top mill that I have been thinking of building (500x300 travel). Specs are 400W AC, with a resolution of 4000 p/r.. They have come with a 30:1 gearbox, but I have no idea what they are like (backlash etc).. You can see what I bought here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=160238390822 While the specs for the Servos and amp/drivers are here: http://www.mclennan.co.uk/datasheets...ervomotors.pdf more here.. http://www.gibsonengineering.com/Mitsubishi/SERVO.pdf Any thoughts/ advice would be welcome.. they seemed to be good value, were they a good buy? |
