I have old New Hermes engraving machine. How can I tell what kind of motors are on it. The motors are Crouzet 89.904.705. The manufactor does not have records for this motor. They have 8 wires coming out of them rated 5 volts. Some one said if they have 8 wires they are steppers. but then someone said they are servos. How can I tell? I need to order a new controller and with out knowing I don't know what to order. Any help help would be greatly appreciated. |
