| Hi every body on the forum ! This is an encoder from a refurbished HP printer, i think it was a HP Deskjet 3500 series. I got this fried board with the printer shaft & disc for approx 2 eur, the man told me that i can salvage the ir module because it was remaining intact. some specs: on the module you can read: Agilent 9985-s233. and it has 6 pins. on the disc you can read: C8941-80004 & GMN47 & 1200CT 200LPI. the disc is approx 5 cm dia. After some searching on the net i think it'a an AEDS or a SEDS encoder module, supply voltage from 3.3V to 7V max. I also got a question: does 1200CT means 1200 count/rev, if yes is it possible to use it with the uhu servo board or is it too high resolution (my motor is 1075 rpm)? Thanks ! cnc2.
