| Hi every body, i need some info on a used motor i found, i don't know its specs and the meaning of the ref. the motor is a Bertrand-polico Ref: 081 C 060 A 022 CII-HB ref: 76956842-001 fab. date: 85/11 it has four external-accessible brushes and is DC no voltage or current rating on it. i think it was a servo 'caus it's double shafted with screw marks on the rear shaft, the seller told me it was salvaged from an old IBM magnetic band reader, i could not believe him 'caus the motor is BIG (aprox 22cm long, 10cm diam & aprox 3Kg) and the shaft was a tube. So if any one know about this motor or the reference meaning of the manufacturer PLEASE let me know ! ![]() What about opening or disassembling a servo, does it reduce motor torque, does the motor need remagnetisation after disassembly ? Is it suitable for a cnc, what torque ? should i buy it ? Thanks ! cnc2 Last edited by cnc2; 03-18-2008 at 06:04 PM. |
