hello cnc zone i have a ac servo with a encoder . i have the spec sheets for the encoder . but im un sure how to read the symbols . i have seen a thread around here before with the anwser but i cant find it . here goes the spec sheet has the letter of the channel.example A then a letter A with a line over top. the drive board im using lists a- a+ in/outputs for the encoder. i hope this makes sense . how do i hook this encoder up ? thanks mike |

| This is a couple of methods used to indicate the relative logic levels for the encoder signals. A B & either Z or I is used for the different channels with I & Z being the once/rev marker pulse. A+ = A A- = /A (the inversion of A) B+ = B B- = /B and so on. Al.
