I'm looking at the 38V 12 amp (max) servo motor being sold buy on surpluscenter.com. The size in Watts is easy to calculate but I'm wondering what size they are in inch ounce? Can anyone tell me how to calculate this or if it is even possible? Thanks for the help. |

| Attach an arm or pulley to the motor shaft and using a spring scale and cord apply an increasing voltage to the motor and read the resultant force on the scale while monitoring the current. The Torque in oz-in/amp can be calculated by the arm moment/force and current read. The max torque at 12amps can be extrapolated. Al.
