Wanted A/C servo amps & motors

I am currently retrofitting a 2-axis Plasma table with Camsoft and a Galil motion controller which I have purchased. I would also like to replace the Baumuller amps & motors of which were 3.8N-m, and 1.4N-m. Therefore I am interested in locating similar components (A/C servos) either fairly new or refurbished as long as they are in excellent condition. I realize I may have to purchase new although thought I would try this route as well.

    Thanks,

    Bap

I gather the present motors are DC Brushed? If they are in good condition I would tend to look at matching them up to modern DC drives like A-M-C.
AC motors and drives come up on ebay all the time, however it is a bit harder matching up AC motors and drives of different makes, unlike DC brushed which is relatively easier.
If the present motors use dc tach's, they can be disconnected when using modern drives in the torque mode.
Going this route it will not be necessary to match motors up or change mounting etc.
