Man, I feel like a spacebrain! I bought an encoder like this about a year ago: (US Digital E2 - (CPR 250) - (Shaft Diameter.250) - (Options-G this means it has ears for mounting) I SHOULD HAVE bought 3, but I wanted to test one out first before wasting money. Well, I tested the one, it works perfect, but now I cannot find the website I ordered it from!!! I was hoping to find it, because the price was cheap ($35 if I remember right) and they accepted Paypal. Anybody know where something like this can be found, or should I just call the factory? This is one of those projects that goes idle for many months then comes back to life when it gets cold outside... Thanks, Mike

I finally dug it up- http://www.camtronics-cnc.com/ This wasn't an officially listed product- I sent the guy an email and he was nice enough to sell one on the side. Pretty cool site. I am currently running gecko 320's. I have linear encoders on 2 axis (they are a little choppy) and one rotary (runs smooth and awesome). Mariss suggested against the linear encoders and I see why. They work, but not great. Now that I have a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket, I want to tighten things up. -Mike

| Well, my original source was out, so I gave US Digital a call. You are right- they are very nice to deal with (as are their encoders). Thanks, Mike
