    Hall encoders

    Hi,

I have a contorller that do not have any inputs for the Hall sensors.
In the same time the motor has the normal outputs A B C and 3 for the halls.

As expected the drive "complains" that can't read the encoder

I believe that the Hall signals are overlaped with the ABC impulses.

Anybody knows about any converter or solution to make this work?

    Thank you,

    Dan

If I read you right, you have a drive that does not have hall inputs and you are trying to mate it to a motor that does?
What is the drive type you have? As obviously it does not sound like a BLDC drive.
Usually the 'Hall' tracks are completely separate.

    Hi,

Looks like Yashawa has this kind of drives and encoders. (motors with no halls). Motors are cheaper and hall are sensitive to vibration.
