Mitsubishi have used 1,000k.pulses/rev, serial transmission.

Lets think we make (design) the absolute type shaft encoder. This encoder has 200K sector. But this encoder give the results at the every one mili seconds.

One milisecond is it big problem for servo band width?

Can we use this encoder for profesional servo systems?

I don't make them, I just install them,

If you are looking to design something, pick something that will give you the resolution you require.
For years, Heidenain used 1024p/rev (4096 when quad pulses x4).
