They may not be optimized for best acceleration, etc. but will certainly work. See this web site for info: http://truetex.com/servomod.htm

Hello!!![]()
I went to Grainger and I saw this DC Motors:

This are preaty nice, and well made, very robust construction. Also are designed to mount an encoder, resolver, or tachometer to the rear.
You can use it with 12V, or 24V, and look very powerfull on Tech Specs, says: 1/6HP@ 12V, 1/3HP@ 24V. Torque 5.84 in-lbs @ 14.15 Amp.
What do you think? This are good to make a servo with this, just putting an encoder on it?, Will work fine with Gecos G320?
Please share your opinion.![]()

Before you can make it, you need dream it!!!

I think you will find these are not servo grade motors, but general purpose. You may be ok with gearing at higher rpm, but if you want low speed direct drive, you may be disapointed in the performance, not all DC motors are created equal.
I would look first for servo grade motors NOS on ebay for that price.
