Hi Folks, I recently aquired an Adept Robotics System... 4 x 950 mm travel linear actuators Driven by 300w Tamagawa Servo motors Attached to them are 4 x 300mm Travel actuators... All very nice... I have a control cabinet that has modular servo amps...(Dual B+) if that means anything...but they are mounted in a PA-4 Controller. The controller is designed to be a stand alone robotics controller, so whilst i could be programmed, i cant control it in real time. I would like to use all the bits for CNC BUT i dont know at which point to break the system down.....Im after a bit of advice.... Ideally, i would connect a PC up to the servo amps, but i cant find any detailed wiring diagrams to help me figure out how to connect into them...Has anyone had any experience with adept Servo Amps... Failing that...does anyone know anything about Tamagawa AC Servos and could recomend a suitable driver? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated... Im happy to supply more info, pics etc... cheers Andrew |
