Hi everyone, I bought a Japan Servo Motor driver(FSD2U2P12) and a stepper (KH42KM2-801). Im trying to hook up the driver to my computer then use Kcam to run the motor, can anyone show me how to setup the connections? There are 2 connectors on the Driver, CN3 and CN2. Stepper motor connects to the CN2, and CN3 is what Im trying to figure out now, thanks for helping. Driver's spec. is in the attachment, please have a look. |

| Did the thought of contacting the OEM or a local sales agent ever occur? If not, you might try here: http://www.japanservo.com/ |

| I am not a stepper user, but it seems very clear as far as the connections go, you have to identify the windings on the motor to connect to CN2 and the motor current rating to set CO,C1,C2. It shows the type of interface for the HMOS logic inputs, you may want to buffer the inputs depending on the type of Logic you are thinking of inputing (paralell port etc). For the fixed inputs like C0-C2 you could just jumper to ground or take high with a 10k resistor acording to current limit required. The stepper experts may offer more. Al.
