I just scored 2 big Ametek DC motors but cannot find any specs online. Can anybody shed some light? ~100mm dia ~180mm long Ametek / Lamb Electric Div 799001-900 Rev.M 01A(E56617) 116249-00 72VDC Nominal 221185F7 What I particularly look for is torque/rpm, power / suitable as servo? Erik Jan

| Hey Eric; How goes it???? I do not have the specification for your particular motors but similar ametek motors are listed at the camtronics-cnc site. The voltage is different but the specs may be similar. Just put an encoder on the back of them, slap a little juice (voltage) to them and torque them up!!! I think you'll be impressed! I actually have three ameteks on the shelf for a future project. However, they still must be modified for an encoder shaft!!! Big old honkers they are!!! Good Luck billyjack Cheers! BTW, was in amsterdam on holiday a few years ago. Awsome!

| Hi Bill, Things are well. I have found a couple of new (4 pole) servo's that I'm gonna hook up to my BF20 mill. The Ametek motor's I have are a bit bigger though. I'll wait and see if somebody else turns up anything usefull. Erik Jan
