my new cheap servos

Has anyone been able to purchase these cheap motors and successfully use them?
If so lets here how well they are working?

If anyone has these motors for sale let me know as automec is now out of them

I'm using them on my mill, and they work great, I have it geared 4:1. I have a 10t pinon on the shaft and I pinned it to keep it from slipping. As long as you gear it, you can use it for any machine.They have 46.5 in-oz @3amps and run 200 rpm @23v DC.

I have a model DTH-2250-v-1 . seems to be the same size but label says 24 volt 2.2a @1580 rpm . How well have your motors run at 36v? any heat problems? this motor seems to be similar to the cariage drive servo on a decwriter III printer. Any comments?

I feel sore, I just bought 3 of them JDH-2250-BX-1C Clifton Precision servo motors for $100 + shipping with/out encoders.

This site seems to specialize in Servos, but you have to send a request for a price quote for each item you are interested in ..

Check out page 5 also.. a number interesting motors on the site..

quite a lot of different ones to choose from. So they have some discounted prices I'm assuming?

I noticed these are 24VDC, not 36 like this original thread had mentioned. Also, these will still probably be suitable.

The comapny is in New-Zealand. Page hasn't been updated since 2003. Also I havn't contacted them yet - If anyone does, please report back
