    Hard Disk Motor

    Hi, I'd like to ask how what kind of motor does a hard disk use and where can I find information regarding it. Thanks.

    most of the hdd motors i've seen have 4 wires. None can be run by dc current. Lots of info here http://www.epanorama.net/circuits/diskstepper.html
